So, this is it. I am beginning to write my first blog. A few words of wisdom and an acute feeling of sharing my personal view of things with the world have finally persuaded me enough to start this wonderful thing.
Well, in the past couple of fortnights, I have gone through some great twists of life. Right now, I am immensely enjoying this super-feeling a.k.a “Being at home”(I still cant get enough of it, though :) ). The very feeling of being close to family is quite enamoring.
Also, I have been through some mini turmoils as well. These sad chunks of life are very disturbing (atleast for me) which forbid me to enjoy earthly joys. These thoughts turmoil through my brain taking control of most of the dominant parts of it.
So, I thought that eventually it is me who is the sole incharge of my thoughts and so it entirely depends on me whether I should be happy or sad.
No, come on, seriously, think of one thing that you want in your life. Just ONE thing. Be it money(for most of us), Status, Power, Love, Sex whatever. Now, when we dig deeper into the core of human needs, we inevitably arrive at the rockbottom fact that eventually what we all need out of life can be contained in one word…
HAPPINESS
Yes guys, face the fact. Happiness is the attribute we all need at the end of the day. Some of us derive it out of money, some from love etc. But eventually, what we all need is happiness.
So, is this so called ‘Happiness’ which all of us are running after for most of our lives, is it that hard to achieve ? Is something as common as happiness so lost from our lives that we had term it as the ultimate need of life ? I had read this fact in some 7th grade Value Education textbook of mine, but it is still very intact inside.
Well, I personally believe that God has given more than enough share of happiness to all of us. We just have to find it. I myself do try to find happiness in the most miniscule of matters. Even if I can’t, I try to fake a smile which with the course of time turns into a real one. Try to change your view of things, and surely they will change their view of you.
After all, it all lies in the human mind which is ultimately YOU. I guess, that’s why they say that you are the sole writer of your destiny.
I might sound like a nerd to some of you (partly, because I am actually feeling like one right now at 2:41 a.m.). Nevertheless, I shall sign off now.
